I had an amazing opportunity a week ago attending a “Styled Photo shoot” at the Olde Church in Cumberland Gap. I was able to meet the very nice owners who are opening the church up to the public very soon. When purchased, the church was pretty neglected and needed lots of work done to it. The owners, who are photographers themselves have fixed it up and completely renovated it to be accessible to other photographers to use as a natural light studio. A local photographer from ColorBlind Photography hosted the event. She had all of the details in place from the outfits/dresses, headpieces, strobes, props, you name it. This was an amazing experience where I was able to meet up with other local photographers who had signed up to be a part of the event. There were many categories: Maternity, Senior, Mother/daughter, child models, Bridal, Boudoir, etc. We were able to photograph the models any way we’d like and adjust our settings of our cameras to how we see fit. It was a free for all and I loved it. Got my creative juices flowing! The Church owners will be using our images to help advertise their studio when it is ready to be open to the public in the end of April.
The businesses involved in this event were:

Here are only some of the images so far that I have edited, and I will show more once I catch up on my client’s galleries. 🙂
